Lenz’s Law – Solo Piano Version explores friction and resistance through dissonant intervals, abrupt dynamic contrasts and irregular harmonic movement. The piece creates a dense psychological atmosphere where tension becomes the central expressive element rather than melodic comfort.
This solo piano interpretation stands apart from the later brass quintet arrangement included in 2022 on the album Brassing Reflections. While the brass version expands the sonic spectrum and ensemble weight, the piano version concentrates the unease into a more intimate and raw sound space, emphasizing harmonic tension and structural sharpness.
