Ledesma is presented here in its original version for piano and cello, unfolding through a restrained and contemplative neoclassical language. The music moves slowly, allowing silence, decay, and repetition to shape an atmosphere marked by sadness and emotional distance.

The piano establishes a fragile harmonic ground, while the cello adds depth and human warmth, reinforcing a sense of memory and loss. Rather than seeking resolution, the piece remains suspended, embracing melancholy as a persistent state rather than a momentary emotion.

This composition later appeared in a new version for pocket orchestra, released as part of the album Snapshots of Life, Vol. 1. While the musical material remains unchanged, the expanded instrumentation transforms the intimate grief of the original into a broader, collective reflection, widening its emotional scope without diminishing its restraint.
